First Hive Installed!

Friendly Farms installed its first hive last week! Much gratitude to Jen for providing our first hive a home! We installed the hive at night this time, because we had to wait from the bees to come home from their day of foraging before moving their hive. The next morning, they woke up in their new home and got straight to work. I checked on them that morning, and they seemed very active, which is a great thing. They will soon be enjoying the dozens of lavender plants that Jen recently planted on her property, which will be great for the lavender, and make for delicious honey. Jen is donating most of her hive honey to Friendly Farms for honey subscribers, so look forward to some delicious lavender hinted honey next Spring!
